DO NOT BE AFRAID, HE IS NOT HERE.

DO NOT BE AFRAID, HE IS NOT HERE.

Mark 16:6, Do not be afraid,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place they laid him. Luke 24:1-12, Mark16:6-8 and ICorinthians 1:13 are supporting text.

You can bear witness with me that Christ committed no sin but was charged with sin.

He is the only human or person who died with the most injustice charge.

From the persecutions, we can see clearly that the charge they stood to crucify Jesus Christ was baseless, meaningless and useless. They maltreated him and made him died an injustice death.

The Disciples were afraid when Jesus was captured and crucified; but His resurrection power gave them assurance, foundation and took away their fear.

According to Luke 24:1-12, Mary Magdalene rose early in the morning to the tomb. When she went there, an Angel appeared to her and said, “Do not be afraid, why do you seek the living (Jesus) from the death? He is not here”. He has risen

Romans 8:8-10, if you believe that your Lord is risen, you will be saved.

Mary Magdalene remembered what Jesus told her when she saw her before his death; that he will pull down the temple of Jerusalem built with 46 years and build with three (3) days.

According to John 24:11, the Disciples did not believe when Mary Magdalene told them that Jesus is risen at first. It seemed nonsense to them (ICorinthians 1:13).

We all have a stone in our lives that only God can roll it off.

There will be always a stone, but keep on praying with faith, it would be rolled off.

Jesus Christ is Risen!!! Risen indeed!!!***

Depend on Jesus now for he is our only mediator between God and us and he sitteth on the right hand of God and is with us wherever we go now and forever, AMEN!!!

***!!! HAPPY AND HOLY EASTER / PASSOVER!!!***

THE MYSTERY OF THE CROSS!!!

THE MYSTERY OF THE CROSS!!!

Sometime ago, I asked myself why Jesus Christ died at a tender age? This is because the Bible says he who lives long is being blessed by the Lord; does it mean Jesus was not blessed?

Each of us has a mission to accomplish on this earth. So a time came when I realized that Jesus finished his mission on this earth and needed to go back.

Job 14:7-9, tells us that there is hope for a tree even if it is cut down, it will sprout again.

Job used this quotation to support the death of Jesus Christ that; there is hope even if Christ dies, for he will rise again as said in vs. 7 and its true he resurrected which has now given us a foundation to worship the Lord as a living God

. (7 For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease. 8 Though the roots thereof wax old in the earth, and the stocks thereof die in the ground; 9 Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant)

The Mystery of the cross is that; Jesus Christ came to die on the cross for you and me and rose again, therefore if we die, some day to come we will also resurrect!!!

There are some things we shouldn’t do if we do not understand, when you read Mark 8 31-33, Peter wanted to stop Jesus from going to the cross to save us. It wasn’t that he doesn’t want Christ to save us but to prevent Christ from going to suffer a lot. Let’s read it 31 and he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32 And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him. 33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men.)

No suffering, No Crown!!! (Micah 7:8 & John 11:35). While we were sinners, yet Christ died for us. If you want to follow me, deny yourself and take up my cross (Christ).

PRAYER FOR LONG LIFE

PRAYER FOR LONG LIFE

I pray and confess that with long life will God satisfy me and show me the fullness of His saving power. I confess that as the number of my days on earth are, so shall my strength be with corresponding wisdom, grace and abilities.

I will not die but live to declare the works of the Lord and His glory. God will not cast me away nor forsake me in my old age. He will still remember me when I am advanced in years. He will satisfy my mouth with good things and renew my youth as an eagle. I believe with all my heart that the Lord will keep all my bones and not one of them will be broken in Jesus' mighty name.

I believe that when I am old and grey-headed, God will not forsake me until I show his strength and power to the next generation. In Jesus' name, Amen.
